Building Stronger Communities for Tomorrow’s Workforce
The Texas Workforce Family Initiative (TXWFI) was established to support the families and communities impacted by Texas’ rapid economic and infrastructure growth. As major investments in technology, energy, manufacturing, and data center development continue to expand across the state, communities are experiencing unprecedented population growth and workforce relocation.
TXWFI partners with local leaders, educators, employers, and community stakeholders to help bridge the gap between economic development and family support services.
Our mission is simple:
To ensure that the families behind Texas growth have access to safe, reliable, and sustainable childcare and after-school resources.
Through strategic planning, public-private partnerships, and state-supported initiatives, TXWFI works to develop childcare centers, after-school programs, family resource networks, and community support systems in high-growth markets throughout Texas.
We believe strong communities are built by investing not only in infrastructure and industry, but also in the people and families who make that growth possible.
